What a wonderful show! Thank you so much to all the fabulous folks who came out on Saturday. I couldn't believe how many of you were there showing your support, lookin fine on a chilly night. Joseph Mills began the evening with his piano-driven power pop accompanied by John Fitzhugh on the tasty drums. Without coordinating with us, he and John were dolled up in jackets and ties- just like our group! Here's a little story as a testament to how great my band is: I was running about, saying hi to friends as they came in, generally being excited and listening to Joseph rock. We were to go on at around 11pm, and it was about 10:45 when I got a call from Teswar, the bass player. He seemed frantic, "Hey, I'll be right there!!!" So I said, "Um, ok, great! See ya!" I thought it was a bit odd, but left it alone and carried on with my warm-up and chatted with Joia, who told me the real story... |

There's a little hint of cold in the air as the days get shorter and the nights grow ever long! That means it's time to release BOOK! The band is getting really stoked to share everything we're working on with you, so come on out to IS Venue THIS SATURDAY NIGHT for a fantastic guest-star-studded event! We've got Joseph Mills and John Fitzhugh starting out the night so do come when the doors open at 9:30pm. We've also gotten some great airplay on 106.1 The Corner, and read the article in this weeks The HooK!!! Also, don't forget to check out Fridays Extra's Section in The Daily Progress... Hello you beautiful people!
After much toil and promises to you for a looong time, I am so excited and proud to share my new RECORD!!! The official full-band releases will be held December 6th and 14th in both for Virginia and New York City. Saturday, December 6th 9:30pm Is Venue (617 West Main St. Charlottesville, VA 22902) with very special guests Sam Wilson Trio & Sunday, December 14th 8:00pm The Living Room (154 Ludlow St. New York, NY 10002)
Some of the great friends who worked on BOOK include Paul Brantley, Rosi Golan, Eddie Jackson, Andrew Kapner, Jared Scharff, Vienna Teng, Paul Vassallo Alex Wong and a bunch of other wonderful artists, designers and fantastic professionals. The title track just won November’s Best Song of the Month onwww.SongwriterUniverse.com! I cannot thank those who worked on it enough- and most importantly YOU, my friends and fans for giving me the strength and support to make it happen. I do hope you will come to the shows for the limited-edition silk-screened t-shirts, the framed album artwork by J.A. Maughn and the fantastic line-up of special guests accompanying Teswar, James, Grove, Ian and Julie (my band!)
